Support

Questions, answered.

Which SSD should I buy?

Any M.2 NVMe SSD works. For iPhone ProRes recording, pick a fast drive of 1 TB or 2 TB. Remember that 2 TB+ drives need USB-C power when used with a phone.

Does my SSD need extra power?

With a phone: drives of 1 TB or less run without external power. Larger drives need a USB-C power supply connected to the PD port. With a computer, no extra power is needed.

How do I record ProRes to the SSD?

On iPhone 15 Pro and later Pro models, connect the Vault Mag, open Camera and select ProRes. The iPhone records directly to the external drive.

Will the magnet hold while I film?

N52 high-strength magnets lock onto MagSafe iPhones and MagSafe cases. For phones or cases without MagSafe, stick on the included magnetic ring.

Which colours are available?

Silver, Gray and Orange.

Is the fan noisy? Can I turn it off?

The built-in fan keeps the SSD cool during long recordings, and a switch lets you turn it off when you need silence.
